ASTM A36 Carbon Steel Seamless Pipe could also be used for
customary structural purposes. The specification calls for the
performance of a heat analysis on the products. ASTM A36 Seamless
Pipe is evaluated using the tension test. Several parameters
including the products tensile and yield strength besides its
elongation properties are checked. These properties must conform to
the expected tensile properties. Being a structural grade, carbon
steel ASTM A36 Water Pipe exhibit good weldability properties, and
is easily weldable with the use of any of the following techniques
- gas metal arc welding i.e. GMAW, or MIG welding, shielded metal
arc welding i.e. SMAW, or stick welding, as well as oxyacetylene
welding.
